This Ladli Behna Yojana is an important aspirational scheme launched by the Madhya Pradesh state government. Under this, every eligible woman of the state will be given a total financial assistance of Rs 1250 every month. The amount of this benefit will be available up to RS 3,000.

Under this Ladli Behna Yojana, the women of the state are to be made economically empowered and self-reliant. Under the scheme, all the eligible women of the state, whether poor, general class, backward class, scheduled caste, or tribe, will get benefits.

Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana Qualification

• Must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• She can be a married, widow, divorced, or abandoned woman.
• His age should be between 21 to 60 years.

Ladli Behna Yojana Disqualification

• The annual income of the woman or her family should be more than Rs 2.5 lakh.
• Any member of the family should be an income taxpayer.
• Any person in the family works in a government department.
• Any person in the family should be a former MP/MLA.
• Any beneficiary woman should be taking benefits of Rs 1250 or more.
• Any woman/family member should have more than 5 acres of land.
• Any family member should have a 4-wheeler in his name.

Ineligible women taking benefit of the scheme may face jail up to 10 years

Ineligible women taking benefits of the scheme should get their names deleted/removed from the scheme soon. Many cases of rigging have been registered in this scheme. There are many such examples in which women are taking advantage of the scheme, ignoring the rules of the scheme.

Some women are giving the wrong documents and some have given the wrong information in the affidavit. Some women are not fulfilling the obligations mentioned above and are taking benefits. Keeping this in mind, a provision of 10 years imprisonment has been issued to those women who have given wrong information in the affidavit and documents.

To give up the benefits of this scheme, the following steps have to be followed:

• For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the scheme from the given link.
• Then you have to click on the option of giving up benefits on the home page itself.
• Then you will have to fill in your Ladli Brahmin Yojana application number/member composite ID etc. on the new page.

• Then you have to fill in the captcha and click on the send OTP button.
• With this, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered on your Samagra portal, which you will have to fill in here.
• Then you have to tick the given check box and click on the Save button.
